The White City Bus Tour

Registration begins Monday, July 2. Limited to 45 persons.

Inspired by the best-selling book The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson.
Cost $45.00 per person, cash only.

Price includes: guides, materials, site and admission/donations, lunch and bus.

Relive the excitement of the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition, which brought 27 million visitors to Chicago to marvel at "The White City. Noted historian and guide, Bill Hinchliff, begins with a fascinating narration and photographic slide presentation at the Chicago Cultural Center. Travel to the original fairground, Jackson Park, stopping at Wooded Island, the Statue of the Republic and other related sites along the way.

Enjoy a sit down lunch at Bar Louie’s Hyde Park location during the tour and finish the tour with a visit to the Chicago History Museum.

Bus departs Lansing Public Library at 8:50 a.m.
Bus returns to Lansing Public Library approximately 3:45 p.m.
